The cassette, Souvenir Latin Mass, was recorded at Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, and features the vocal talents of the Slovakaires.

This cassette lacks the comercial quality cover and casette labels of the other recordings of the Slovakaires, but for what it lacks in packaging, it makes up for in music content.

The Slovakaires are joined by organist, Sister Eileen O.S.F. and Reverend John J. Sima, pastor of Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church.

Hymns and songs on the album include Introit, Kyrie, Gloria, Gradual, Credo, Offertory, On This day, Sanctus, Bendictus, Agnus Dei, Communion, Regina Coeli, O Salutaris, Tantum Ergo, and Divine Praises.

Karol Wojtyla, Jan Pavol II. You need to be able to understand Slovak to get maximum enjoyment from this recording as much of the cassette is spoken word interspersed with hymns to the Mother of God. the Hymns are outstanding classical renditions of Marian favorites.

Did you know that Jan Pavol's mother came from the area of the northeast Slovak border and her parents were Eastern Rite Catholics.

The hymns on the cassette include eight versions of the popular hymn Ave Maria. Spoken word includes Nebojte Sa, Evanjelium, Brat Nasho Boha, Boh Je S'nami, Velkonocna Vigilia, Ked Som 22 Oktobra 1978, Ked Myslim Na Vlast, and more.

This cassette was recorded, produced and manufactured in the Slovak Republic and imported to America by It's All Relative.
